![]() ![]() Select the checkbox next to I have the Your Phone Companion - Link to Windows app ready. The app will take you to a screen to pair your Android phone. If you dont have a Microsoft account, create one. From there it'll push an Actionable Notification to my phone and give the options of 'Ignore' (ignore alert), 'Volume Up' (increase alarm volume) or 'Set Alarm' (create and set an alarm for next morning). Launch the app, select Get Started, and sign in using your Microsoft account. It runs at 11 PM the night before each work shift and then checks that either an alarm has been set and/or phone alarm volume is above a certain level. This handy feature allows you to send a command as a message in order to trigger certain actions on your phone.Īfter a few hours of dabbling, I've managed to create an automation to alert me in case I don't have an alarm set (on Android) for work the next morning. I've been recently playing around with Actionable Notifications via the Companion App and whilst browsing through the online documentation I managed to stumble across 'Notification Commands'.
